BABY SHOWER CAKE TO MATCH NURSERY
This cake was made with love for my best friend of over 25 years. I made it to match her bedding fabric for little Asher's nursery. Below is a picture of the fabric that it was matched to.
BABY SHOWER CAKE TO MATCH NURSERY II
This was a cake for my Best Friend's sister, who happens to be MY sister's best friend. Did you get all that? =) I made her cake to match little Liam's nursery as well. These sisters are due a week apart!!! Therefore this was a joint baby shower cake project =) Below is a pic of the Pottery Barn airplanes she is having hung which was my inspiration for this cake.
SMURFETTE CAKE
A lady ordered this cake for her niece's birthday. This particularly brought back memories for me growing-up in the 80's & 90's!!! =)
FATHER'S DAY REMOTE CONTROL CAKE
This was a Father's Day cake for a dear friend of the family. When I asked what he enjoys for inspiration for a cake, she mentioned relaxing in his reclinder as one. So since I wasn't sure about tackling a recliner I decided to suggest a remote control which usually coincides with a recliner =)
ATTORNEY CAKE
A Mother ordered this for her son's birthday who happens to be an attorney. The Gavel & other pieces are made of chocolate by using molds. This was a yummy carrot cake with buttercream frosting.
JUNGLE ANIMAL BABY SHOWER CAKE
The animals were all made of fondant as was the baby & blanket. The expectant mother had painted the nursery with grass on the bottom half of the wall & clouds on top so I iced the cake to match that.
WELCOME BABY CAKE
My friend Nikki "half" joked it would be nice to have a "Welcome to the World" cake for her newborn Millie when she came to visit me so we whipped this up one night while she was here. She's GREAT @ free-handing so she did the continents. It was chocolate per her request ;-)
ANIMAL PRINT CAKE
This cake was made for a teenage girl for her birthday. This cake uses a new product called "cake tattoos". The top layer was vanilla and the bottom was red velvet.
